Oakwell
Barnsley
3.00pm Saturday 5 Feb 2021
Well, the unbeaten run and the charge for the play-offs lasted all of 3 games. So, we start again. Same problems, same doubts and fears, same nervousness.
Bielik being out for so long is tragic - not in the sense of big tragic and really horrible things but a real blow for him and the club. Not really sure where his replacement will come from.
The implosion v Rotherham shocked me. All the sturdy stoicism and defensive nous disappeared in a mad 15 minutes. Not much really to say.
Barnsley look comfortable and can easily claim to be pushing for a play-off place. They're a sort of non-passing, non-possesion playing side of the sort Derbybstruggle to play against.
Team news from ......well I was going to say Vidal but every time I say "team news from Vidal", he doesn't do it. So I'll say:-
Team news from anyone.

Indeed, I've never seen that before, kicking too leg when all he needed was touch - showed great inexperience

Watched something last night called the Superbowel. Seemed to consist of someone throwing a ball to someone who either dropped or caught it. This was then followed by blokes talking boIIocks for 5 minutes before they did it again. After 20 minutes I went to bed. Is it called the Superbowel because it's full of s***?

Been there done that.
When it was first on C4 live in 1982 or maybe 1983 I attempted to stay-up and see what all the fuss was about.
I gave up after about 20 minutes, so I consider to have got off lightly as I've never watched a single minute of AF since.

I agree, Sibley looked very good. A shame he's not getting much of a sniff in the first eleven atm. That said, he should've scored tonight because once the game is a 3-0 there's no way Leicester would've got back in it. At 2-0 always a bit dodgy....but good to see we hung in there. Well done U23's.
