Theres hee-haw happening with football, I cannae get excited about politics and I can get even less excited about Sevco discussions.
So lets go for something completely different.....
I was talking with someone about those random coincidences that happen in your life from time to time that make you go wtf!!??
I have had a few....
I worked abroad for a few years (nearly15 years ago now) and my wife and I had decided to sell our house instead of having to deal with renting it for 2-3 years when we were away. I left the country a couple of months before my wife because she got a redundancy package and was essentially on gardening leave and had to stay in Scotland.
Anyway that plan was scuppered when a house round the corner that we had always had our eye on came on the market and my wife had managed to get to the front of the queue to buy it....so we couldnt pass up the opportunity.
I was abroad as this deal was getting sorted and so there I was on the other side of the world on a night out taking calls from my wife who was frantically trying to agree everything for buying this house.
When the calls settled down I started speaking to a wummin who was at the dinner I was at. She was a slightly more senior lady, fairly high up in the company that I worked for, and I had never met her before in my life.
This wummin tells me she had lived in England for about 30 years but she was brought up in Glasgow. She started asking about all the calls i was getting and I explained I was in the process of buying a house in Glasgow. So she starts asking a bit about the house....
Not only did it turn out that the house I was buying was in the same street she grew up living in but the very house I was buying was the house of her best pal when she was a wee lassie growing up in Glasgow in the late sixties/early seventies.
So.....two random Scottish folk meeting up half way across the world and there I was about 30-40 years later buying her best pals house from when she was a wean.
Like totes mind blown man.....

Not sure that’s quite right Zico.
The EPL are excluded from having more teams. France and Germany are in there; maybe Italy too as I recall.

They've suggested letting your massive teams in, even if they've failed to qualify. Surely can't happen.
I know they've constantly protected them but this seems ridiculous.
Also a 10game group stage. Great for us if our teams ever make it in terms of monies generated. Can't see it passing given everyone is already moaning about the fixture pile up.
I'm not sure the next generation in England (or fans of English football) will even bother about the FA cup. Which is a shame given it's history. Just isn't viable to big teams and their owners just now, nevermind if these changes or anything like them come in.

Unusual coincidence.
In two consecutive years whilst on holiday in Mull we took our boat, kids and our Weimaraner dog around to a nice and usually deserted beach. Although a year separated these events, on both occasions our dog was attacked by another dog almost as soon as we landed; they were different dogs, but they were both boxers and both boxers were called Bob. Our dog was called Bob.
One beach, two years, two boxers, three dogs, three fights, three Bobs.
