Jurgen's mother died.

Really sad to hear that Klopps Ma has passed away and even worse he couldn't travel to the funeral yesterday. No wonder he was a bit spikey with some journalists on Sunday!

People like Roy Keane (who i do like as an Irish football fan) need to rethink some of the narratives they've been pushing that hes cracking up etc.

sad news

it's a testament to the man how strong he is to carry on with his job the way he has

Actually caught a bit of a documentary with klopp banging on about winning the league......

In the bit I saw he mentioned how his dad could have been a great player but was forced to do something else by his dad, and it was clear that klopp really was disappointed that his dad died before he became a manager and how he’d have loved klopp’s success. He mentioned his mum a few times too in the bit that I saw. Sad news, even if the boss of a bitter rival.

-----------------------------------------
Why?

Everybody has something going on in their private life. If Keane knew beforehand that his mother was bad, he probably would have considered that.

But you can't walk on eggshells all the time just be on the safe side because somebody might have something going on
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Basic problem with Keanes nonsense, is that at no point did he use the same language to criticise City when they were massively behind Liverpool as reigning champions.
Keane is entertaining, but when it comes to expertise in football management, he simply has none.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
How does it relate? Klopps tantrums with City's poor form?

Yes he did though...
----------------------------------------------------------------------
No he didn't.
He said he had little sympathy for them with injuries, but they were still a good team, and needed to get their heads down and get on with it.
This was when they were 14 points behind Liverpool.
Fast forward 12 months, Liverpool, ravaged by injury problems, are bad champions with a manager who's cracking up.
As I say, he might be entertaining, but knows feck all about top level management.

Maybe because Pep wasnt cracking up?

This

Keane was one of the first pundits to deckare City out of the titke race.

The language was different because its quite clear that the reactions of Pep and Klopp to the losses of Form have been worlds apart.

And Pep also lost his mother in the summer.

Really sad to hear this

Just a shame that you chose to take aim at Keane!
How do you know Keane knew about it?

posted on 12/2/21

Kneerash through your bitterness you’ve made this article more about Keane than Klopp and his Mum.

How sad is that?

It's a sharp reminder that there are things more important than football. Anyone who has experienced a loss like that will know how hard it is to carry on with life afterwards. And in these times, God alone knows how he has coped.
