He used a false name when he signed his pro contract in 2018.

By that point though what was he supposed to do? All's well that ends well, looks a proper talent from the bits I've seen at u23.

Did you give a mate's name?

I played with my mates in a Sunday League game which isn't allowed if you are a registered Saturday FA Pyramid player. So I was a 'ringer'. They give you a name of a registered player in the team who isn't playing, for the team sheet and if I had to give my name to the ref. Which I did. A common practice.

We got a lad in to play one game that wasn't registered once who had to play under another lads name. He full on open handed slapped an opposition player. The lad whose name he was playing under got a 3 month ban. One of the funniest things I've ever seen on a footy pitch. Proper b¡tch slapped him.

yeh... there are responsibilities that come with playing under somebody else's name on a Sunday. Like paying your own fine if you get a card and not leaving it to your mate!
