After a bemused glance at another comment on JA606 comparing me to a turkey at Christmas complaining about something (no, me neither), I decided to motivate myself to dedicate a match thread to the Faithful who stick to it through thick and thin and will hopefully get to see a match go ahead at the scheduled time. And don't tell me to delete someone 'cos I'm nobody's lapdog - unlike RFB
Derby seem to have sleepwalked back into the quagmire - it seems we are doing the right stuff, little baby steps to assert ourselves, then suffer that idiotic collapse as witnessed at Rotherham. Will the unthinkable become the thinkable and after the last few seasons of being in or around the play-offs be a distant, nostalgic dream?
You know when they say "it's a must win game", I generally just wryly roll my eyes and think 'well, a draw'll do' but now we are coming into the realms of "must win" and Brough is a must win.
We'll see. Unchanged team? Is TL available? Is Max the answer? Will Shinnie get a ?

You want to think that, Scouse. Fans who hate a player are always astonished when successive managers continue to pick him. It never occurs to them that maybe their own judgment might be flawed.

Along with a lot of other bang average players Vidal, Derby ultimately achieved nowt with "Captain Fantastic" as an ever present member. I don't hate Keogh either I just don't get the clamour to love him.

Who loves him? Where is the clamour? You’re just making stuff up Scouse. He has flaws and strengths like all players at this level. We are in a much worse position now than when he was playing for us, though there are lots of reasons for that, in the same way that there are lots of reasons why we didn’t get promoted other than the perceived deficiencies of any one player. It’s just as valid to say that Keogh was a key part of a team that consistently challenged for promotion year after year as it is to say that he was part of a team that “failed”. Most fans would give a lot for that type of failure at the moment.
