Everton next

They lost today and have city next on wed, and then us on saturday. We have a 5 day rest.

They could be running on empty by the time they play us and i wonder what team carlo will put out against city. I think if they won today they would have rested a few but now they may not do that.one thing in their favour is they didnt have to travel.

As for us, i am hoping Davies is fit and maybe start him alongside philips who has played a number of games for us now.

Mid of hendo wij and milner/jones for me.

One slight criticism of jones, he seems reluctant to shoot now days. He has a good shot on him and should try more often.

We play Leipzig on Tuesday OP.

Are you already dropping Kabak?

Jesus i alreqdy forgot about champs league. Kabak i want to protect a bit. Thought he had a decent game versus leicester but he is young and we def dobt wstn to smash is confidence already.

After a horrible Saturday all the other results went well for us and the team we need to keep an eye on are Chelsea as Everton once again have failed to turn up
Think kabak will start tomorrow, he knows the opposition and that will help
Milner is out so will prob be Thiago Jones and gini
A decent result tomorrow will set us up for the derby.

Look there was 70mins of decent performance v leicester.

We need to take the positives and learn from the negatives.

We need to forwards to shoot when in box aka mane passing all the time. We need to get bodies in the box aka salah as good things happen.

We need to get 2 cbs at the back and let them work on communication.

Alisson held everything at him. He just didn't smash kabak and the ball. One error and the Internet muppets are calling for his head. Stupid.

Just be positive and hard working that's all.

Results will or won't come, but without the above attributes its.much more unlikely.

From what I saw they were getting in the box; they were striking a goal. All that was missing was the final ball. As I’ve said before that was the best performance by the Reds this year, all looked good. Then the collision between Alisson and Kabak happened and that was it. End of. Collapse. And Leicester, well played, took full advantage and came out deserved winners.

The question is: does Jurgen throw both Ben and Kabak into the deepend against Leipzig? Move Jordo and Fab, if he’s fit back into midfield?

Why not? They can’t be any worse than they’ve been over the last few weeks.

You can see the team is playing with a lot of pressure.

It's going to be hard but we just need a few wins under the belt.

how many times mate? the reality is there were very very few times when you could see more than one man in the box. This is the reality.

how many times is salah 40 yards from goal trying to make something when in fact we are needing him i nthe box to finish (best forward)

we try our best.

oh and yes, I would get 2 CBs on the park whoever they are. If we have "bought" badly then thats our own fault here.

We played henderson at cb and he was running channels in right wing at times even trying to make a difference.

IMO henderson at Cb made no difference to the end result why not phillips and kabak if fit.

why not henderson and fabinho screening these defenders and try get the team spine and shape back together.

At this juncture the above makes sense.

Need to get some balance in the team
