Cheese eating surrender monkeys

The lot of yas!

We open the season in 5hite form occupying lower table, miss half our penalties, play half the season without a recognised striker, and still no one wants to come and have a go.

The wealdstone rider has more front than the rest of the “top 6".

Lots of football left to play, but I’ll be enjoying watching city while we’re buzzin and having a few beers along the way

Best team on top of the table shocker!

You’ve spent billions on players and are rightly top of the table. Odd article.

We can't all be as frugal as Chelsea.

Poor Chelsea, never outspent anyone on their way to any title

I actually fancied Chelsea for an outside bet at the start of the season just before you got Havertz, think you’ll be looking good once it fully clicks!

Who said that? Chelsea are underperforming no doubt. But it’s no surprise that the top spenders of the last 10 years are top, that’s my point. It’s an odd article

Basically Man City have the best team so are rightly top. This should not be surprising to anyone.

It surprised me.

Says more about you I guess. I think city were favourites before season began. And after Liverpool’s injuries were made overwhelming favourites

Didn’t look likely when we were 13th tbf!

Even before Liverpools' injuries we were struggling with our own and were hard pressed to find enough players to start, never mind fill the bench.

The Covid outbreak after the Arsenal game and the demoralising loss to Spurs would have shattered the expectations of the most optimistic fan.
