Who said that? Chelsea are underperforming no doubt. But it’s no surprise that the top spenders of the last 10 years are top, that’s my point. It’s an odd article

Basically Man City have the best team so are rightly top. This should not be surprising to anyone.

Says more about you I guess. I think city were favourites before season began. And after Liverpool’s injuries were made overwhelming favourites

Even before Liverpools' injuries we were struggling with our own and were hard pressed to find enough players to start, never mind fill the bench.

The Covid outbreak after the Arsenal game and the demoralising loss to Spurs would have shattered the expectations of the most optimistic fan.
