my thoughts

so i was having a read through some of the articles and comments since last night and i thought id share my insightful thoughts

i saw yesterday some questioning the duo of fred and mctominay in midfield and to be honest, i didnt have an issue with them playing.

im not quite sure where this whole "2 defensive midfielders" thing has come from.
what you get in fred and mctominay are 2 workhorses, but mctominay has 7 goals this season and knows where the back of the net is, he is often pushing on and making late runs in the box... now matic and fred would be 2 dm.
it also begs the question if mcfred shouldnt have played yesterday.. who do you go with.. matic who is more defensive than either or Donny who has looked lost in nearly every game he has played?

point 2 is Rashford... im quickly losing patiece with the guy.. his play at times is so lazy, everything from his passing, trying to win the back back and tracking back.

point 3 - martial ... see rashford but only worse

point 4.. the CB's.. now ive seen Lindelof called ole's lovechild or son.. i mean seriously.. do we have 5 year olds posting on here??
ok.. so we drop one.. who do we go with.. tuanzebe who has had on good game in paris and who has looked piiiiss poor ever since... or Bailly... who has just been injured ...AGAIN.. answers on a postcard

point 4... the big one...Bruno.
now here is a guy who probably has credit in the bank, but he gets away with murder at times.
his passing at times is woeful and often puts us under instant pressure trying to play clever.. this needs sorting out, the guy needs to be informed that the hollywood ball isnt needed every time.

Shaw.. for me our player of the season so far ( and that includes Bruno). been consistently good all season.

yesterday was a bad result and one we should have won.. but lets not forget, WBA have gone to anfield and the etihad this season and picked up points, this game was never a gimmie

Because he’s a sprinter, not a footballer.

He reminds me of a fast version of zinedine kilbane. Just runs and runs with no indicator until he carries the ball over the byline

I pretty much agree with this. If at a young age you can’t beat someone by dribbling skills or the drop of your shoulder etc, then being fast isn’t going to help you very much.

Especially when you are lightweight. I see no future for James at the top level.

At least Kilbane looked a premier league footballer at times. Dan James belongs in the championship.

Please elaborate on these times mate. I'm speaking from a ROI perspective. You could never doubt his commitment and effort, it's just he wasn't very good

When he was Everton? Don’t get me wrong, he wasn’t very good. But I have no problems calling him a premier league footballer. I refuse to call Dan James one. He really is that facking shiiiiiit.
