The bar I'm saddest about losing was underworld. I believe before my time it was called the 39 steps.

Anyway weeknights it did Corona and vodka for 50p. Decent student friendly tunes, indie, rock and cheese. Half decent Mexican food. Had a weird dahli style vibe and a cracking big bar.

For some reason they decided to turn it into some awful attempt to compete with the solid rock and the place just died.

I see Trump is on the warpath

Trying to destroy McConnell as he's the only one who can potentially fight him for control of the Republican Party from the inside.

There's a real possibility that Trump is looking at jail time for state crimes given his attempts to turn the Georgia vote. Graham at threat of following him too.

But he'll do his damnest to bring down the traditional conservative wing of the party as he goes down.

I really can't see the Republican Party surviving this.. the Tea Party nearly did for them, so they adopted them into the Party.. and this is the outcome.

Similarities with the Conservatives and UKIP/the extreme libertarian wing of their Party (1922 committe). I suspect a similar end will befit the Tories too.

I mind reading in history about the Whigs and old Liberals etc and wondering how on earth a political party just disappears given I had known nothing but Tories/Labour until then.. but it's all too real to me now. Quite extraordinary times.

And now Trump has just pied off Guiliani who no doubt is in some prosecutors sights too.. so Trump thinks he's obviously a liability now.

Guiliani won't go down without a fight and will spill dirt on Trump if he thinks it'll save his skin.

In terms of the five players who broke the lockdown rules, I think they should be consigned to training with the youth for the rest of the season, let them earn their opportunity again in time for next season. Except for Zungu who, besides the fact he really should be old enough to know better, should never been seen in a Rangers strip again. We need to be firm because the squad clearly didn't learn the lesson from Jones and Edmundson.
