Giorgio Chiellini

Great to see an old fashioned center back still doing his thing out there on the pitch. There aren't too many like him left in football today unfortunately.
This guy is a proper defender. He absolutely loves to defend and seems to take great pleasure and joy when he's out there getting into a physical battle with forwards. So much so that some strikers resort to biting him on the arm when they can't deal with him ... fecking Suarez
And one look at his face is all the evidence you need that this guy's not messing around on the pitch.
When it seems that everybody nowadays is more concerned with defenders who can pass the ball and play out from the back even if they suck at defending , Chiellini has remained an old fashioned , physical and solid center half ... Mind you he's not too bad with the ball in his feet either.
Been a great player and professional for many years now and has won many honours with Juventus but he still remains somewhat underrated in my opinion.
