Team News

Mateusz Klich has been playing with a hip injury in recent weeks but is available .

Wolves
Injured Wolves pair Willy Boly and Daniel Podence are getting closer to full fitness but will definitely miss Friday's visit of Leeds United.

Forward Raul Jimenez is now training individually outdoors but is still a long way away from a return.

Wolves have won their last four league matches against Leeds, scoring nine goals and conceding just once.
Leeds have won two of their last three away league meetings, more than they had in their previous 16 visits to Molineux.
Wolves are unbeaten in the last eight top-flight home meetings, winning five and drawing three.

Wolves
Wolves have won two of their last three Premier League games - as many as they had in their previous 14 matches in the competition.
They are looking to win back-to-back league games for the first time since October.
Wolves haven't opened the scoring in any of their last 14 league games.
Ruben Neves has scored four goals in seven Premier League appearances in 2021 having failed to find the net in his 34 league games last year.
Aside from three own goals by Chris Smalling, Tammy Abraham and Dan Burn, Wolves' last 98 Premier League goals have been scored by non-English players.

Leeds United
Leeds are one victory shy of 200 in the Premier League.
They have only kept one clean sheet in their last seven league matches.
Marcelo Bielsa's side have conceded a Premier League-high 19 goals from set pieces this season.

Patrick Bamford has scored six goals in five appearances for Leeds on a Friday.
Eight of Bamford's 12 Premier League goals this season have come away from home.

Friday Night in Wolverhampton seems Paddy likes scoring on Friday nights
No Kalvin again hopefully MB won't muck the team up too much for this game
Another tight game but we've done not bad away from home so I'm going for a 2-1 Win with Paddy and Gjianni Scoring

thought you were unlucky and deserved a point. you had the best of the goal chances but didn't convert any - we had the best of all and luck to go with it.

Unfortunately that's not how the world works Kamara.

Might be a bug bare of yours but denying it doesn't change anything.

I'm amazed you haven't realised this

Well we didn’t deserve to lose by a fluke goal.

Kamara is right and then again, he's not. This is a head vs heart argument. The object of football is to put the ball in the net and whichever team is most successful in that respect gets the points. How they do it is irrelevant as long as it's within the rules of the game. Wolves scored with what some on here describe as a fluke – but it wasn't. They created everything that led up to that goal and played the final ball that ended up in the net. That's the head speaking.
The heart says that because we dominated possession, created better chances, and were the victims of a ball that could have gone anywhere but 'luckily' ended up in the net suggests we deserved to win.
It's no coincidence that those who lose tend to speak with the heart while winning supporters are generally happy to look at it logically (i.e. with the head), take the result and move on.
I haven't expressed myself very well here but I'm trying to say there are two ways of looking at this.

I still can't get my head around someone arguing that Klich was playing in midfield.
