From one extreme to the other.

You couldn’t make it up, could you. Last season, all guns blazing, tally ho, blitzing all that dared to come before us, the team that nobody wanted to play against. This season? We all know it, tent-pegging into the Earth’s crust at a rate of knots like there’s no tomorrow.

We’ve been lucky. Yes we have. None of the front three, for me the best of their kind on the planet haven’t been scythed down in a season-ending or indeed career-ending tackle. I should add, “yet" to the last sentence but that would be tempting providence. Either that of COVID has a real go at the club, top to bottom.

Where do we go from here? The first bit is easy, dead easy. Just ignore all the shiiittee coming from the mouths of the wums, they can’t help it. They haven’t been given much chance in the past four years, so give them a break. Humor them. And tell ‘em to fekof

For us? Again, simple. Stick by and support our team throughout, nothing else is needed by the fans. Our anthem says it all.

FSG? Well, in order to survive let alone advance, the wallet needs to be shown the light. I can well envisage a cull of peripheral players, together with both actual and potential high-class competition for most if not all of the places in the team.

I’m not wishing it, far from it, but would could suffer even more igmony for the remainder of the season, that’s always a possibility, just get ready for it in case it comes.

In the meantime, like my fellow Reds, I will support the team through thick and thin.

Something doesn’t seem quite right Jimmy, that is for sure.

Your front three should still be scoring enough for you to win games despite the obvious defence issues.

It is going to be hard for FSG to spend massively without selling a prized asset. We are in the same boat due to Covid.

But like us you clearly need at least one more CB.

Everything is slow and one paced going forward. Passes struck with pace into the front men are a thing of the past. The tempo is too slow.

Thiago has been woeful and an instrumental factor in the above.

The front three aren't showing the movement they are used to because the runs are ignored for simple 10 yard pass backwards or sideways.

Fab and Hendo are instrumental to how we play. Not having them in the midfield has killed us defensively and offensively in the middle of the park.

Having our main centre backs out for the season his killed our season.

We've had the euphoria with the CL and the league. Now we have to support the manager and hope FSG allow him to make some changes in the summer. The likes of Shaq, Ox, Matip and Origin need to be binned and better alternatives brought in.

Wide words Jim. Support the team at the peaks and support them in the valleys.

The reaction of some folks on here recently have been comical.

We do need new faces in the squad but is the money there? A season without fans takes 100 odd million out of the coffers. Gonna be an interesting summer.

all true.

things have gone badly wrong, but calling for heads is extremely premature.

Look there are times when everyone knows enough is enough. it happened with hodgson quickly, it took too long with rodgers, it took years to get rid of souness.

the main issue here is this sort of attitude could have been applied to shankley when he stuck with his men too long and didn't win a title for 7 years.

Klopp's stuck with some too long here, not buying 2 summers ago might have been good stability but we were shot through by feburary and since that time we have never got a proper preseason or time to really get fit. It shows.

A bit of patience needed. We will end up 8th here.

This doesn't answer the question about your forwards not taking their chances though.

Your frontline is reportedly the best front 3 in world football,or is it not?

Put it this way the balance of your team is all wrong due to the injuries but what is your strongest facet and is that still playing well.

Your strongest facet from an opposition fan is your front 3 both in defence and attack and its actually where the standards have dropped. Yes they need the support of Hendo and Fabinho but these are difficult times they must carry the team in some games like they did at palace, spurs etc.

They arent right now and are conveniently hiding behind the defence, as is Klopp now.

4 defeats in a row at home. That has little to do with injuries in defence and to make it worse you weren't losing to top teams until recently.

2/18 points from your last 6 games at Anfield like come on.

You have 1 goal scored in your last 5 games at Anfield and that was a penalty. No goals from open play.

Injuries ate not supposed to decimate a team to this level especially up front where you only have one injury. Something is terribly wrong with your attack.

there is a true saying " those who laughs last laughs longest " Liverpool will come good that is for sure.

Why would our attack just work like normal when the rest of the team is decimated? This is just proof that all the idiots of the last few years saying we are rubbish and carried by our front 3 were plain wrong.

nobody is saying your attack must work like normal, They must just score goals. That cant be hard for the talented players they are. Infact they are scoring in away games against top teams that give them space.

There is quite clearly a problem at home against teams that sit back.

Please don't confuse my questioning the attack as saying they are res[ponsible for the poor form, its just beyond shocking that you can go so many home games struggling to score.

This is probably not going to change anytime soon.

its so easy for teams to defend us.

why?

TAA and robertson will not over lap. you might get one or two runs a game. When they go forward we score. END OF.

they are not overlapping as nobody will cover them. ESP when klopp outs ox and shaqiri on.

then we see we rarely get bodies i nthe box. Look at that worldie v leicester. that was the first and last time the forwards got into their box. great goal.

most of the time salah is 40 yards from goal and most goals are on the break. this has the be the prime change. Just run behind all the time centrally. get me who can pass passing to him.

My sugestion is this

southampton style 4-2-2-2

Alisson
Trent Phillips Kabak Robertson (full backs orders to go on.
Wijnaldum (whoever is fit) this line SITS and covers)
Thiago Shaqiri. this line presses and is there to pass to the forwards)
Salah mane (narrow and high, get i nthe box)

the amount of quality we have is massive, we need to believe and work hard.

Get jota and henderson and whoever back in fully fit and it will also improve.

play narrow use the baility to pass in the

Liverpool will spend. But it will be on the back of wise sales.

However the asset they could get the best return from with lowest impact(Salah)isn’t going to command the pre Covid fee he would. At 29/30, he is a player FSG may cash in on and with Mane you still have the best player.

Time for some Klopp magic, getting a player(s) in for small fee and developing them.
