Who is a realistic option for next manager?

It looks like time is running out for Jose, but who is a realistic appointment and when is the best time to make the appointment? What if we fall off a cliff now?

Tuchel has already gone to Chelsea.

Rodgers is flying high with Leicester.

Even Poch has gone to PSG.

A managerial change in the summer makes more sense for all parties involved, will Jose make it to the end of the season?

This is even before you address how much it would cost to sack Jose and bring in a new team. But perhaps Jose's contract isn't as lavish as we all think it is. It's well known that Levy loves incentive based contracts. I wouldn't be surprised if it was and Jose probably fancied his chance at achieving the targets set to him especially if it was only to get Top 4 and maybe a cup. Whatever cup it was given the squad we have.

So who do you guys think is a realistic next manager for next season. Usual suspects and a couple left field.

Julien Nagelsman

Max Allegri

Erik Ten Haag

Brendan Rodgers

Lucien Favré

Ralph Hassenhutl

Graham Potter

Someone else?

Not Allegri. People need to realise that Managers with the best pedigree aren’t always the best fit

Regardless of who we want where stuck with Jose till the summer regardless.
I say we ding him in the summer regardless and go for Carlo Ancelotti from Everton.

He may be getting on a bit but is still a top Manager and plays good football.

Whom ever we get were still gonna be stuck with Levy and ENIC pulling the strings regardless.

I'm supprised no one has mentioned Ernesto Valverde as an option.

For me it's hard to pinpoint one in particular as they will all have pros and cons. I think Nagelsmann would be great as I like what he's done at RB Leipzig and his training methods are apparently new, modern and exciting and although young he has the respect of his players. Negatives only managed in Germany and plays a really high line which might not suit us or the Premier league week in week out although I'm sure he's tactically aware to tweak this where needed.

Rogers obviously another popular choice, gets his teams playing well, improves players, can use various formations, coped with injuries well at Leicester, and knows the Premier league.

Cons - not won a trophy in England if I'm not mistaken as came up just short with Liverpool and probably won't win one with Leicester although time will tell. Also I find him a smug so and so!

Finally Potter - I'm really unsure but I look at Brighton and see the football they play which is head and shoulders above us it's just they can't seem to put the ball in the back of the net, that shouldn't be a problem with our forwards though. Is there a reason he's not been linked bigger clubs?

The bottom line for me is were never going to be a really top top club winning trophies while ENIC are still here, sorry but it's time for them to go!

The problem lies with ENIC and Levy....not so much with the current manager.
And God only knows who would be stupid enough to take over this club while ENIC are in charge.
Mourinho said as much in his post match conference today....if you listen carefully.

Not a lot, made some mistakes (not backing Poch for a couple of windows, hiring Santini/Jose, leaving signings until late in some windows) but generally have been pretty damn good in the whole.

A sizeable minority of Spurs fans think otherwise though. When you go without trophies for a while, or bat above your station but don't achieve, blame lands somewhere.

What have they not done right? Apart from NDombele, and Hojbjerg, Levy/ENIC have bought third raters...Doherty, Rodon, Sanchez, Aurier. They won't go after first rate talent for the back line. Instead they borrow players like Reguilon and hope they'll opt to stay instead of go back to better clubs (Real).
Result...a back line that leaks goals, like WHU first one at 4 minutes!

100% the defence is a joke any manager would struggle.

2 weeks ago, the second meanest defence in the League. Now 6th meanest. Not great but not abysmal. No new manager would, quite rightly, put the unjustifiable trust in Dier as a CB as Jose does, probably to prove himself right when everyone knows that he wanted to sign Dier when at Man U.
