like lots on the board. That`s what 5 year olds do, when they don`t get their own way, not even giving him a full season. Cutting to the chase, lots wanted Jose out of the door from day one. The biggest cheerleader on the boards, Ace and his fanboys on the board wanted him out as soon as he stepped through the gate at WHL. Pretty shameful from so called supporters of our great club. Fortunately whatever posters like Ace say or bleat on about 24/7, will have absolutely no bearing on the way Daniel Levy runs our club. It`s embarrassing really the way supporters have this weird agenda against the manager, but are happy to give players that are clearly not good enough a free ride, even though their are lots that are not good enough.
Having said that football is a results business and if results do not improve by the end of the season, the manager will be sacked, and I would have no problem with that. Previous managers have gone the same way, and the club would move on. But now is not the moment to fire a manager that has got Spurs to a final, and is in with a good chance of getting the club to the last 16 of another cup competition, and OK there are some decent sides left in that, but remember, as bad as it has been this season at times, Jose has already schooled Pep, Ole and Arteta in games this season, so no reason he cannot navigate Spurs to another final, if Spurs can get their best team back on the pitch on a regular basis.
Back to the personnel. The CBs are a complete mess at the moment. None of them can be trusted, and that includes an ageing Toby, so best to do what Spurs did yesterday second half, and go all out attack, and just try to outscore the opposition, knowing there will be a mistake or two at the back, which will result in conceeding. There is no magic button to solve the CB situation, other then a complete clear out and new CBs purchased, but that aint happening this season. No amount of coaching will make Dier a good CB, or players like Winks decent holding midfielders, or Sissoko a visionary midfielder. They simply are not good enough and need to be moved on.
The performance yesterday was good, and if our forwards had their shooting boots on, Spurs would have scored six or seven. Conversion rate of one goal from 20 odd attempts is very poor, considering the attackers Spurs had on the pitch. So players like Kane and Son have to take their fair share of blame yesterday as well. Keep missing fairly routine chances is not helping the cause. West Ham had two or three chances, and scored two goals.
Anyway Spurs go again midweek. No time for dwelling on the past.

In the bad old days "Mr Positive" would have been carted off to the local lunatic asylum...no questions asked, no dust settling a simple 6 by 4 room with padded walls and some "friendly" care assistants / security guards who may or may not have been avid listeners to the endless Bill Nic musings and Poch out ramblings.
These days we do things better thank goodness but sometimes care in the community doesn't work out for certain individuals who are frankly beyond help.
Do I think mr positive is dangerous? unlikely but a period of intense counselling maybe in order to recalibrate certain thought processes and damaging self harming behaviour.

Couldn't agree with you more, Sandy was a rambling old buffoon, I mean I would not mock him for his obvious senile dementia, after all we are all going to be old some day. However sympathy aside his losing battle with Alzheimer's did mean he spouted incoherent rubbish almost constantly.
