Our form and results have improved since Evatt's recruitment in January. Also, injuries have cleared up and our lads are keeping themselves out of trouble on the injury front. Long may it continue.
Looking at the fixtures and our current form it would seem that we should fear no team in this division. Of course, there may be an odd bad result but on the whole, I don't think any of us would have expected this turn around before the transfer window. We have to say that Evatt has brought some quality into the squad and deserves some recognition.
I don't think any of us saw the Tobias alogritham as the holy grail of selecting a football team. I and others may have judged Evatt too harshly, so hopefully, now that he has his own head on all matters football, we will continue to see improvements, not forgetting that he is still a relatively new manager.

That's a good result for Southend and also keeps FGR pegged on the same points before the game. All we have to concentrate on is winning our games and leave others to slip up.
The lads will be up for the game on Saturday and hopefully, they won't be complacent.

Undoubtedly there will be setbacks but I'm hoping for an unbeaten run of another three games before we meet Cambridge at home and then beat them at the UniBol.
We can beat any team in this division. We have to be positive.

Still paying my season ticket so another payment due Monday so continue to get the home games livd. A knock on effect is finding a tenner on top for the away games. Tuesday Oldham away will have to be radio coverage or as live a few hours later as I did for the Tranmere and Southend games.

It seems that at last, everyone is in a positive mode. Hopefully, today will bring a further three points and push us into the play-off positions. I am going for a home win before we meet Oldham. I remember when we played Oldham many years ago. It was over the Christmas period and it was snowing. It was the first time that I had seen supporters stripping their shirts off in the freezing weather. I was never that way inclined.
