Bolton Wanderers v Scunthorpe United

2 in form sides at the unibol tonight. Bolton with 13 points from 15 will be put to the test by scunthorpe who have won the last 4 conceding just the 1 goal moving 12 points clear of the relegation zone where they were precariously perched just above after getting beat by barrow. Some memories from our promotion season in 2016/17 when scunthorpe were early leaders and a belting game at the then Macron on new years eve when james Henry scored a late goal to win 2-1. 2 of the players we had in that promotion season could play for scunthorpe tonight. Jem karacan and mark Howard. A strong ex Bolton connection with george Taft who never got a chance at bolton and manager neil cox. Team news. No new injuries reported. Brockbank still out but could be back on Saturday. Plenty of options now though for evatt to shuffle his pack. As usual ifollow 7pm kick off.

Our form and results have improved since Evatt's recruitment in January. Also, injuries have cleared up and our lads are keeping themselves out of trouble on the injury front. Long may it continue.

Looking at the fixtures and our current form it would seem that we should fear no team in this division. Of course, there may be an odd bad result but on the whole, I don't think any of us would have expected this turn around before the transfer window. We have to say that Evatt has brought some quality into the squad and deserves some recognition.

I don't think any of us saw the Tobias alogritham as the holy grail of selecting a football team. I and others may have judged Evatt too harshly, so hopefully, now that he has his own head on all matters football, we will continue to see improvements, not forgetting that he is still a relatively new manager.

Well done Southend ,
Forest Green 1 Southend 3.

That's a good result for Southend and also keeps FGR pegged on the same points before the game. All we have to concentrate on is winning our games and leave others to slip up.

The lads will be up for the game on Saturday and hopefully, they won't be complacent.

All these games coming thick and fast the picture can two or three times a week.
They'll be a set back or two along the way it's how we respond to them which will determine our fate.

Change.

Undoubtedly there will be setbacks but I'm hoping for an unbeaten run of another three games before we meet Cambridge at home and then beat them at the UniBol.

We can beat any team in this division. We have to be positive.

No slacking today stock up and pay up in plenty of time we have high expectations again today.

Still paying my season ticket so another payment due Monday so continue to get the home games livd. A knock on effect is finding a tenner on top for the away games. Tuesday Oldham away will have to be radio coverage or as live a few hours later as I did for the Tranmere and Southend games.

It seems that at last, everyone is in a positive mode. Hopefully, today will bring a further three points and push us into the play-off positions. I am going for a home win before we meet Oldham. I remember when we played Oldham many years ago. It was over the Christmas period and it was snowing. It was the first time that I had seen supporters stripping their shirts off in the freezing weather. I was never that way inclined.
