Lots still to play for this season

One game away from lifting a trophy, almost into the last 16 of another competition, and being 9th in the Prem this season, the way it has twisted and turned this season, is not the end of the world, a few wins and any team can rocket up the table.

Now is not the time to sack the manager. Only the kneejerkers will want that. Form can just as well turn around again, with players coming back from injury at an important time of the season. Spurs have a fairly favourable set of fixtures now until the end of the season, so this season could still be Spurs best season for a very long time.

The time to judge will not be in February, it will be in May. Just need to get behind the team now, and give them our full support, it is what proper supporters do. They don`t just turn their back on the club, when things don`t always go to plan. A few defeats should make no difference to supporters. You support them through thick and thin. Or at least that is what I have always done.

Bit more positivity, and a bit less moaning wouldn`t go amiss.

Whereas back in November some were rushing to declare Mourinho a roaring success - only to then vanish for the better part of three months when things went pear-shaped.

It’s also beyond parody to say Mourinho’s term is vindicated simply because Spurs beat Chelsea in a penalty shootout, got a bye and then beat a couple of lower league sides.

Every team in the league though could say that. Were not Liverpool even further in front of City? Don`t see there fans constantly moaning though.

Being 1 point behind Leeds who are 10th and recently promoted isn’t anything to be optimistic about mate. It’s a joke.

Spurs will finish well in front of Leeds at the end of the season Don. I am still pretty positive on how this season is going to end up.

Well you can only beat what is in front of you. So what`s your point? Are you saying you can only reach a final, if you beat five Prem sides along the way. Not quite sure you get how cup competitions actually work.

where was my moaning? just sayin they were bottom half and we were top around abouts when we beat them, then they have won 18 in a row in all comps and see them clear in 1st and spurs 9th.

bringing liverpool into this is a bit silly, they won a league and CL with their manager, as well as another CL final and coming close to the league the season before they won it.

theyve come to the end of that teams natural cycle.

How come when our previous manager got us to the Champions League final, a proper final, you completely dismissed that achievement and called for his head, wrote letters to Levy etc (one of the worst attitudes I've seen from a so called fan).

We all wanted Jose to work. It looks like it hasn't. I'm all for the positivity but it's ok to admit when you're wrong Sandy. And please, just stop being such a hypocrite, it really isn't cool and it just brings this board in to unnecessary chaos.

You said that such an unimpressive cup run vindicates the decision to appoint Mourinho.

That’s absolute nonsense, and you know it is, so why not stop insulting your own and everyone else’s intelligence.

That was the flukiest ever run to a final, and it showed in the final, with possibly the worse ever performance from a CL finalist.

Scraped through the group, courtesy of one of the team messing up their final home game.

Scrapped past Man City, after VAR saved Spurs.

Were completely outplayed in both legs of the semi-final, and got a lucky last 20 minutes where a player hit a hat-trick.

Never turned up in the Final.

That run to the final had zero to do with any input from the manager. It was pure Lady Luck, through nearly ever round.

brought in a foreign Big Sam,
=========================

Who has won more trophies than Bielsa...Oh wait

What a pathetic "wumming" attempt.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Not wumming at all and definitely not comparing his record to Bielsa.

Funny enough my neighbour messaged me about another neighbours impending funeral this morning and we got chatting about Spurs. He’s a ST holder and follows them into Europe as well. Massive fan. He said this:

“ Don’t think any of them are wanting to play for him! Something not quite right fore sure?”

His spelling not mine.

Jose, in my opinion, is just an ego inflated has been.

If you think that’s wumming then that’s fine by me.
