Newcastle fans hate Shelvey, I always rated him

I like Shelvey too, but he has to be one of the most infuriating players in the game, when he's up for it he can produce magic, but more often than not he looks like he can't be bothered.

In the summer we signed two international centre backs, if we'd signed McGuire and Coady nobody would be saying the jury is out on them, why do Llorente and Koch have to prove they are what they are.
Besides, behind Struijk we have a defender who has been capped at u19 level and looks every inch a player, forget White, that ship has sailed and the future looks so bright without him.

As I said - jury is out because he's not had many minutes playing so far.
Any player coming in to Leeds United has the capability to fall flat on their face. It's happened many times. I don't see that happening with Llorente especially with his pedigree, but you never can tell.

Koch has already shown that he's comfortable and capable in the team.

Agree that White is unlikely to be available from Brighton at the end of the season, but he HAS proved himself in our system and I'm certain that Bielsa won't have written him off as a potential signing as he's perfect in the role. He isn't the same player in the Brighton system.

Personally - first impressions of llorente makes me think he has all the right attributes. I have my doubts about Koch defensively... but obviously hope it’s a settling in/adjustment thing.

koch is more than capable, just needs a little time to settle after injury
