LCB: 1st Choice-Cooper
2nd Choice-Struijk

RCB 1st Choice-Koch
2nd Choice-Llorente

If we can keep him fit, I think Llorente will prove the better signing, obviously none of us have seen much of but the bit I have seen of him he oozes class and the fact he can play other positions is a bonus. He has an opportunity to establish himself alongside Cooper but if he plays against Villa assuming Kalvin is still unfit he will play in that role.

thats the big one for me. llorente cover for kp so no one else has to play out of position.
by the end of the year cb could be one of our stronger positions.

Bearing in mind he is on the touchline kicking and heading every ball and the influence on these players

1) Bielsa
2) Bielsa
3) Bielsa

It's probably the case that Bielsa will stay for another season - he still has something to prove to the world.

It's also probably the case that some of our "mainstays" from the Championship will find they are playing more supportive roles as new players are acquired or brought through the youth system, and I think Cooper is one of this group, whereas Bamford, Ayling and Dallas are not.

Once Llorente and Koch are fit, and if we can hold on to Struijk, then Cooper will struggle for a starting place next season. Yes, he's improved immensely and he is a true Leeds lionheart, but I'm sure he'd be the first to say that the club must come first. Blind loyalty is nonetheless blind.

I also agree Elsbels that our defensive problems have not all been down to Cooper: such a fantastic attacking strategy will invariably leave us occasionally vulnerable at the back. Cooper's done brilliantly to hold it together as much as he has.

he does not give 1 jot what the world thinks of him

if he stays, it's because he is having a jolly nice time in yorkshire

1 = Stuie Dallas.
2 = Paddy.
3 = Meslier.

(but so many others to mention in dispatches ... Coops, Ayling, Raphinha ... btw the reason Kalvin, Rodrigo, Alioski, Harrison, Klich don’t make my list is simply one of consistency versus those above who do!).

👍😁💙🏆
