Derby County 1 - 1 Notts Forest

Pride Park
Derby

Fri 26 Feb 2021
1945

Does it feel the same? Do we still get worked up over this fixture? As yet again the Mighty Rams take on those from the Dark Side of the 52 - no crowds to witness anything.

Funny that the two clubs fortunes have been in parallel this season - I think Derby thrive on big crowds with passionate, knowledgeable and loyal support, whereas Florest thrive on not having a group of disloyal, unknowledge and dispassionate fans in the stadium which really helps them.

Derby have shown great tenacity in recent games, grinding out good results where before we could have caved in such was our inability to defend a lead. Rooney when talking about this game against Notts Forest has stated that there are no injury worries - apart from Tom Lawrence. So, we can adapt to match.

And those from the Dark Side? They can stay there.

Because no one in their right mind would employ you?

I've been in constant employment since I first started as a snotty nosed apprentice in July 1978 Spart.

I resigned from my last employer in 1995 as they couldn't run a bath. They were bankrupt within 12 months.

As long as there are cars there will be a need for someone to mind them. It's a smart choice of occupation.

I once took advantage of the world's longest urinal It would have taken something the size of Sellafield to boil what was cascading out of the end of that.
