Utterly disgraceful
Five 0-0 draws and two losses in 7 matches , whilst scoring only one goal ( a penalty ).
When the team are set up to play "not to lose" football instead of going out there and trying to win , you get these embarrassing results and excruciatingly painful and boring matches.
Somebody on here posted an article asking how we are even second on the table and people ridiculed him for that ...
To be fair it's a question I'm sure even some of our players ask themselves too.
Our record vs the big 6

The lack of goals in these games is terrible. But I reckon Ole is satisfied as we haven't lost many of these games.

It isn't "disgraceful". A lot of games games between top teams are tight, always have been. You can only point to the Arsenal and Spurs games and say we deserved to lose.
Our setup, and the way games have gone, suggest teams are wary of opening up against us and Ole is happy to let our attacking players make something happen in big moments.
The fact we haven't conceded many (Spurs aide), suggests it's a great platform to build on.

We’re the league’s top scorers but have scored zero or one goals in 12 of our 26 games. Only winning 1-0 three times in those 12. That’s not great for a team with our attacking quality “on paper”
One penalty in 7 games against the traditional top 6... that’s dogsheite

We just need to find a new way of playing against these sides, they don't leave space in behind anymore for obvious reasons.
To be honest, if we had Pogba in midfield yesterday, I think you'd have seen a better performance. Mctominay starts attacks well, but in the final two thirds of the pitch, having both Fred and McTominay isn't going to help.

He's overjoyed, in charge of one of the biggest clubs in the world, 2nd in the league, etc. He's pinching himself.
Ed will not flinch either as winning does not impinge on the Glazers' business model, the team just need decent runs in cups, a respectable league finish to bring in the money. That is all that matters.
For the fans though, opinions are polarised but genuine ly, deep down no is enjoying us play like this. We are dull.

Yep.
If we're going to win things, a certain level of risk is needed. But he can see that playing safe will at least keep him in the job if he at least gets top 4.

I just hope next season we take the best bits from this year, and from last (record v top sides) and finally mount a challenge that lasts into the spring.
A full Stratford end certainly wouldn’t allow some of the dross we’ve seen at home this season.
Haaland, Sancho and a decent centre half would help of course

One can hope. Problem is no one can agree one the reasons for our problems vs top 6.
