The old Chinese Super League

About to get messy.

The reigning champions, Jiangsu Sunning, have been wound up by their owners.

Clubs gone. Piff poff poof. One minute you have a heavily financially backed, new money club winning the league, about to flex its muscle in the CL, agreeing contracts with potential vanity signings like Garett Bale, next thing you know, they’ve shut down so the owners can concentrate on other ventures.

Good luck Inter Milan

Yer fella Miranda that was at Atletico was on their books. Wonder if he fancies coming to Liverpool for a season ending knee injury?

When the chinese dictatorship speak that is it.

They have driven this show for a few years and some players ended their careers to go there and collect cash (oscar) but in reality you see what happens.

I believe Jack ma had his collar felt by the dictatorship and the billionaire vanished for months as he was dedicated having unspoken about his great and glorious leaders.

Unfortunately a lot of talk coming out of China suggesting that they are being seriously hindered spending overseas by the government.

I fear it would probably end badly for Wolves a few years from now.

Wouldn't surprise me with their slowed growth.

I think its more than slowed growth. It really didn't slow that much.

I think they are clamping down for other reasons and frankly the hidden issue is on overseas TV money coming to the UK. If that vanishes a lot of clubs are in serious trouble.

It's very different to a few chinese publicity stunts getting closed and paid off.

We cannot pay off players etc where when a massive hole erupts in our finances.
