With Celtic being humbled by a rampant Rangers side this season and the final nail in the coffin of their 10iar dream soon to be hammered (at) home. The talking heads of Scottish football are turning their attention to the expected exodus at Celtic Park.
So who have we seen the last of?
Out of Contract/Loan ended
Brown - Out of contract, seems obvious he will go. The beating heart of the team ripped out.
Duffy - Definitely off, i'd like to thank him for the memories.
Laxalt - Decent in spells but nothing special. Would cost a few quid and hasn't really justified spending that on him.
Elyounoussi - Good numbers but often anonymous, would be a decent signing imo but another who would cost a decent fee.
Kenny - He looks like he would be a good signing. There is no option to buy but Burnley were offered him for 10m in the summer. A price probably rules Celtic out.
The Wantaways.
Ajer - Easily Celtic's best defender, young and ambitious. Kennedy is expecting interest. Can Celtic hold onto him and if not how much money will they get in the deflated summer market? Is 10m possible?
Edouard - Silky or sulky, the guy is a player when he can bother his erse to show it. Going to end the season as the top scorer in the country but a poor season behind him in comparison to a tremendous season last time. I think most expect him to be sold so for how much? 15m?
Christie - Occasionally excellent but massively frustrating, sometimes plays like he's got his boots on the wrong feet. If there is Premier League interest i think he will want to go, i can't see it personally so i think he will stay for another season.
McGregor - Is he in this category? I'm not sure but constantly linked with Leicester. I think he stays unless he is actively pushing for a move.
The duds.
Barkas - 6m last summer, worth 600k this. Do Celtic stick with him and hope he shows the ability whoever signed him came to the conclusion he had?
Griffiths - Harsh to put him in here but he's not managed to get fit all season, he's not trusted and he should be moved on. Will anyone take a gamble on him though....
Ajeti - Not shown enough, i think he will get another year as he has got a few goals and in the right system could be a good player.
Who have i missed? Anyone else on the chopping block?

Katic I think goes out on loan to begin next season. Its a big injury and he really needs to get games

i think 40 at a push Hamish, but that could change depending on how far you get in the Europe league.
i don't think more than 10 for Kamara.

Not really. Kamara I think has stalled on accepting a new offer so possibly he's looking out the door. But I'm quite easily putting two and two and getting carrot.

Kamara came from Dundee for £50k (strange people dont mention that more) so he wont be on a whopping wage.
He knows if he can get a move for around £10m he will be on £40k or so a week which is likely to be 4x what he is on now.
You cant blame them if they are tempted.
In general though Rangers seem to be a pretty happy camp at the minute.
Morelos has a price agreed with the club that he can go at and its up to him to play well enough to earn that bid. I think the club have actually handled him quite well. They have put the ball in his court.

Yep and reinforces my view that other than Morelos I don’t see anyone clamouring for a move.

Are Leeds still interested in Kent? They went and signed Raphinia instead who has been a huge hit.
As for Jack Simpson, very early signs were not good but i expect Katic to go on loan and/or Edmundson to move on.

Simpson looked heavy legged and cumbersome. Certainly dont think he looked match fit.
I guess hes one of those that you try not to judge till he gets up to speed. There were Championship clubs willing to pay £750k for him in Jan with a few months left on his contract so he isnt one we are likely to make a loss on.
I thought Bassey looked quite cumbersome his first few games as well. Then he settled down into a decent rhythm and looked a very good prospect.
Then he was terrible against St Mirren and hasnt been seen since
Long term I think Bassey will be good for us but point is I thought he looked a bit of a carthorse in the preseason games but he got match fit and looked a different player.
Hopefully Simpson can get past his rabbit in the headlights first appearance.
