AWB, Fred, Dan James, Lindelof

Are not PL level players. I made an article about this earlier and I will repeat it again.
https://www.ja606.co.uk/articles/viewArticle/432088

How these 4 donkeys are still at the club is beyond me. Yes Lindelof didn't start yesterday and James only came as a sub but point still stands.

Seriously how is Fred a regular at United. Even a crock Anderson and Cleverley were much better than him. The guy can't even pass a sideways pass properly. Don't even get me started on his shooting. Seeing other Brazilian midfielders like Fernandinho and Fabinho and compare them with Fred explains why City and Pool have won so much and we are where we are when donkey's like Fred are revered at OT. Comparing a Lamborghini to a Lada

AWB, James and Lindel-OAF are some of the worst players in the league. None of them would get into first XI at Newcastle or Brighton. Until we have plodders like James and Lindelof managed by the PT teacher I can bet we won't be winning any trophies.

They are definitely PL level... the question is are the title winning level.

That isn't a question in anyone's mind

How do we have so many fans that can only see the polar opposites in a discussion? To say that these 4 players are not even PL level is utterly stupid. You can have an argument that they aren't United standard, but there is doubt that they are good enough to ply their trade in the PL.

But they are PL level. All four would walk into 10-12 teams in the PL.

Although I would argue that no, they are not good enough to be playing 15+ games for a PL winning team.

If they had a good manager who played them to their strengths, then they could all be good/decent premier league players for a mid table side.

Ole is just absolutely clueless when it comes to tactics, players, transfers, everything really.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
You are pretty much right in everything you say.

Of course the players mentioned in the OP are premier league players, just not top end players.

Sadly, until the schools re-open, we just have to put up with Wayne and Robin being here more than usual.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
He's not right in everything that he says. If he was then we would be a lot lower down in the league.

While I don't think they are elite level UTD players... they are quite obviously PL level players.

Do you still watch football on Ceefax?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
You are deluded if you think James, Lindeloaf and Fred are even PL level players. Only AWB can pretend to be a top flight footballer and Crystal Palace was his level no more.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Sure thing.... Man Utd, Sweden international and ex-benfica player is destined for the championship
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Rooney ended up in the championship in the end and I bet he could do a much better job at CB than Lindeloaf in his prime. Your logic (or the lack of) is bemusing.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Rooney was 34 FFS and joined as a player coach. Your logic is truly bizarre.

Fred definitely is. Indeed he is one of United's better options. Should be among the first 5 automatic first choice starters.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
Scary to see this from United fans after growing up watching the teams of old.

He wouldn't have made your youth teams in his peak.

IKR....was thinking exactly the same...dreadful assessment of a bang average player

Can you explain how a team made half up of championship standard players managed by a teacher sits 2nd in the PL?

I have asked you this before but you've never got back back me.

Why would we be a lot lower down in the league if those 4 players are mid table quality?

You realise we're as close to 10th/mid table as we are to first place?

The majority of our first 11 is mid table quality, sprinkle in 1 or two excellent players, and thats enough to scrape top 4. Which is what we may achieve when the season is over.

But it isn't enough to get near first place.

I was responding to the bit about Ole being utterly clueless about everything.
