I personally don't get annoyed when they brag about that.

TBH, i actually respect their European achievements.

However, i can't take them seriously after a stark contrasting season from last. And some of them do over hype themselves even prior to last season.

As a rival, i hope they continue to dwindle into obscurity *evil laugh*

That is a big factor, can't deny that.

But also not preparing your team sufficiently doesn't help matters.

Lack of prep time is an excuse every team can use during these exceptional times but Liverpool playing like this after the seasons they had is baffling, the fall from grace is so alarming you have to pinch yourself. It's almost like the Almighty has flicked a switch!

Is it down to the condensed season? Injuries? Fatigue, both physical and mental? Has Jurgen lost the dressing room? It could be a whole host of reasons

Klopp's style of play would do long term damage to any team he managed if he didn't put in place an adequate plan.

But to be fair to them, there woes have come at probably the worst period in footballing schedule in the modern era due to the pandemic.

They aren't the only ones who are suffereing, but they are definately feeling the effects more than some others due to many of the factors you highlighted.

Whilst rejoicing at someone else's misfortune would have tasted even sweeter if we managed to consolidate our surge up the table.
