The refs got his number- i never knew refs were carrying their mobiles

Stick it up 'em- I'll leave that to your own dirty imagination

Down the channel- Didnt know whether a ferry would be there or jeremy beadle with his microphone

Pass and move- No way sherlock. Just pass and standstill as the alternative

shake the refs hand- as if 90mins of doing his job was some sort of achievement

Not Interfering with play-Brian Clough

I've been asking for years where that 'woodwork' term comes from and why it's still used

Yes it is an old term is the English commentator and fans using it that are the issue not the Italians!

Only English words allowed to be used in England. Anyway just going down to the café, might do a bit of al fresco dining.
