Cowards the lot of you

Why is it so quiet on here? I suppose it's down to me to boost morale before the game.

I think it will be a slow start from city but united will be up for it.

The first 10 mins will see a wave of attacks led by Bruno with the last one leading to a stonewall pen that's not given by the ref.

Bruno is injured in the process and some united players are fuming whilst others are stood with hands on hips, feeling defeated.

Bruno is replaced by Matic but Ole is visibly concerned.

Over the next 5 minutes city gain confidence...

De Bruyne hits a rocket which rattles the crossbar followed by another 2 attempts by jesus and sterling which draws an impossible double save from Dean H - much to the surprise and admiration of his peers who line up to show their appreciation with hugs, head pats and fist bumps.

The players are rejuvinated by Dean's heroics and united start to play with more purpose and urgency.

Inspired by his idol CR7's efforts in Euro 2016. Bruno reemerges from the tunnel to give Ole a hand on the sidelines despite sporting a mild knee injury.

Ole is relieved and excited to see Bruno. He embraces him with a smile, briefly holding his head and patting his waist as he debriefs him about the seriousness of the injury.

Back to the game and it's end to end which is increasingly giving united players increasing belief that they can get something from the game.

United get a corner and the ball is whipped in by Shaw who finds Maguire who heads it in in with fury.

City players are asking for a foul but it's waved away by the ref... United 1 City 0

After the restart city come at united again with vengance and a hard shot from Jesus draws another last ditch save from Hendo who drops drown to the groundwith speed, catches and holds the ball be for jumping to his feet and rolling it to Mctominay who then slots it through to Rashford who is on the edge of the halfway line and ahead of city' last man. Bruno is yelling at Rashford from the sidelines "Marcus RUN, RUn Marcus!!!"

...rashy does just that leaving city's back lime for dead. He shuffles and slides it past Ederson right at the half time whistle.

The players run to celebrate with Rashford who's now running back towards the coaching staff in pure elation twirling his shirt around his fingertips Bruno jumps on Oles back in excitement almost forgetting about his injury ...

But Pep is visibly disgusted by the display of arrogance.

At half time he follows Bruno down the tunnel and pokes him in eye jose style which starts a ruckus just out of sight by the cameras.

United come out for the second half even more motivated and confident than before but city appear to have lost their heads giving away 2 penalties in the space of 5 minutes due to goalkeeping errors.

Rashford scores both pens to complete his hatrick and the City stars heads begin to drop.

20 mins later Dan James wrestles with Sterling in the penalty box and scores an unlikely diving header on the back of a cross by AWB. Ole is smiling and applauding on the sidelines like a proud father watching his Son become a man in front of his eyes.

Then my alarm goes off from my habitual Sunday afternoon nap and reality sets in.
