I'd hope not but have the feeling DDG will be back between the sticks when he's back?

Ole has a bigger decsion to make season end over who will be no 1 moving forward into next season. I'd take a good offer for DDG and Dean as a starter, pity Romero couldn't be no2

Sadly you're right

Would prefer Hendo in goal for the remainder of the season but Ole picks the team and he'll opt for DDG.

Trouble is De Geas wages.

De Gea save percentage has been near the lowest we had in a long time. Henderson and Romero always had a better save percentage.

Mike, his wages are something like 300k a week are they not?

De Gea near bottom of the league for saves and save percentage this season. If we only had the 17/18 De Gea.

Oh come on Posh.. surely that stat is skewed.
Is it fair to say, if he’s not making that many saves, cos he hasn’t had that many shots to save?

We conceded a lot of goals this season due to it. Henderson interestingly has the highest save percentage in the league for goalkeepers to play 5 games or more this season in the league. If we had him in the league games we most likely would have conceded around 8 goals less.

What’s the difference between the two in games played? It’s not even close right?
Surely if Hendo played more those stats would change dramatically

We actually conceded more goals than expected with De Gea in goal this season. Henderson also had an insane record last season where Sheffield United conceded 13.04 goals less than expected.

De Gea has made 53 saves from 24 league games while Henderson has made 13 saves from 4 league games although 1 of those was half a game. Shows you how poor De Gea is. I think since SAF retired De Gea usually averages just over 2 saves per game in the leage which is just over 1 save per half. No wonder we never win the league.
