Bolton Wanderers v Cambridge United

A ding dong do at the unibol as Bolton test their unbeaten 9 match unbeaten run against 2nd placed cambridge united in a 7pm kick off. More importantly we remember the 33 who lost their lives this day in 1946. May they rest in peace. Team news. Again no known injury issues apart from the long term injuries politic and Edwards. The starting 11 may be slightly tinkered with again with delfounso pushing for a recall. Really need to get the goalscoring players on the pitch for me so up to evatt to accommodate delfounso, sarcevic and doyle in the same side.

For me that was up another notch with little things improving game by game with better quality chances as well last night.
Don't lose hope for a goal fest before the season is out it could easily happen if we carry on the way we have been going.

I just hope that we can keep performances and results on track and improve with our shots on target. I read the comments from the Cambridge manager and it was very pleasing. I suppose we are going to get a few teams that will now be parking the bus in front of their goal and trying to hit us on the break.

I think if we play like we are at the moment, teams will find it hard to break us down and our strikers are capable of scoring against any team. All in all, it seems that we have a well organised well-rounded squad.

Long may it continue.

Will having a player of the Month balance out the Manager of the Month curse ? we best approach tomorrow with care.

It seems pretty certain that he will keep the same team. He won't want to upset the way that the team played on Tuesday. I always like a settled team especially when we are playing well.

Hopefully, we will not suffer the same outcome as we did when Evatt collected his first manager of the month award with us. We are a different team from when we met Port Vale in our last match with them. Even the players we had then are playing better.

I expect and hope for another win to hopefully push us further up the league table. Bring it on.

You didn't mention Forest Green Rovers. They are one of three that I picked out after Tuesday's games. The other two are Salford City and Morecambe.

I agree with your other selections, however, I think that Salford City will see us as a local darby and they will be smarting over our win against them at the UniBol. I think they expected to roll us over as they were quite a bit higher in the league than we were at the time.

I do hope that we thrash them when we play them. I'd like to see Gary Neville's face if we do.
