Won without hitting top gear

KDB looked almost embarrassed about his first goal and Southampton were, I thought, probably the best team up to that point. Middle third of the game City stepped up and scored pretty much at will, then pretty much declared again.

Pity that Kun didn't get a goal but hopefully this is part of re-introducing him into the team on a more regular basis.

16 points would, barring a miracle turnaround in GD be enough from the 27 available. Here is hoping we can get them asap.

I have to say I didn't see anything on the TV replay that suggested a penalty, I assumed the TV just didn't pick it up. Perhaps the poor lad just has Salah disease, which affects the balance in the inner ear when they stand on certain patches of ground.

Great win ,Liverpool have shown that losing can become a habit just as easily as winning

How many points needed, at a guess i cant see 2nd place being much higher than 75
80 should be enough

Beat Fulham and I reckon it’s 4 more wins, less if United slip up

I was an outspoken critic of KDB's last couple of outings as were many others. He seemed to be getting back into form yesterday, especially with his passing.

Is the sun finally setting upon Aguero at City?

Also, how many stupid penalties can City afford to give away before they implode and hand the title to United?

If you look at Laporte's Tweet posted by Boris, he pretty clearly accuses the guy of doing a Salah.

He just fell on the floor and got a penalty.

Foden nearly chopped in two, no penalty.

Definately an agenda, maybe a Chinese betting consortium.

I get it! The Chinese have infiltrated the City club and are making their players do things they normally would not do. Whether or not the push-in-the-back was enough to bring him down, the player did go to ground! It did happen! And the Ref. had a good view, as did VAR. City player protests were unconvincing, to say the least.
Attempting to mix in the Foden incident with the saints goalkeeper is absolute nonsense! Foden was definitely fouled, but he got greedy and thought he still could score and so he got up and didn't score. He should have stayed on the ground and would have gotten a penalty decision! Come to think of it, penalties have not been an automatic goal for City recently. ):
