Are the Blades doing, appointing Heckingbottom to replace Chris Wilder?
I'm a Leeds fan and I don't want to wind anyone up. I genuinely don't understand this appointment - I didn't understand when our Radrizzani paid off Barnsley for him, and the proof of the pudding was in the eating - and that was in the championship! I thought he was completely out of his depth, and surely it will be the same for you, a PL club?
Good luck for the rest of the season, in any case! It's a shame the Blades are in the scheisse this season - I'd much rather it was West Brom, Fulham/Newcastle and Brighton who get relegated.

he is the under 23s coach there and probably has the most experiance as a manager on their staff.
they are all but down so dont have to rush into appointing someone so taking their time and appointing someone right for the role makes sense

I thinj there's a lot to suggest that he's a pretty competent coach, just couldn't back that up as a manager. It's like that sometimes. Some people are cut out for the behind the scenes job but just can't do the main role.
Wish him best for his career, as never thought he was dislikable.
