Microsoft..the Man City/PSG of Gaming

I’ve usually been a Xbox fan, think more than anything the Xbox experience is just much better than the PlayStation was. Online play on the Xbox was awesome whereas PS was very sanitised.

I’m thinking I’m going to move back over to the PS5 though eventually - I’m fed up of the connectivity issues etc Xbox is having. Seems like I’m having a new reason why I can’t play Warzone each week. That being said if there is a Halo BR type game that may be a game changer

Really depends on what you like playing. About the only shooter I enjoy these days is Splatoon, so xbox has very little to offer me. Pick based on the games, because the gap between xbox and ps5 this gen is not appreciable 99% of the time.

by the end of the ps3 era it had outsold the 360, the first few years were bad though

The only places where xbox sells really well are North America and the UK. It doesn't have much of a presence in Europe and Japan.

Still, the real money is made on the games bought, so the xbox's success lies in when the consoles were sold, not just how many.

yeah its the same with sony, though alot would be replacement consoles. just had quick look at sales

Talking of thermal issues, I opened up my launch PS4 the other month to clean it out and the difference is night and day. I was at the point where I was using noise cancelling headphones to play games just due to the fans, but now it's often whisper quiet and the fans never go to 100%. You just need a can of air, a special screwdriver and a youtube video. I couldn't recommend doing it enough.

Cheers, I noticed the other day that the fans on my PS4 (probably last gen) are fecking loud and constant. So I might just indeed clean it out as you say that would make a difference.

Doesnt matter though what the reason is, he can't play using an Xbox

Hopefully the deal works out better than Fallout 76 did

Nope quite a lot of Xbox specific ones recently. All the mates I’ve been able to cross play with didn’t have the issues

X box is the Apple of gaming. Reliable but hardly compatible with anything else.
