Lamela should have had a red card for a challenge a few mins before he whacked Tierney too. Clear two feet off the ground lunge, in the style of a kung fu flying kick. Luckily he never made too much contact but he should have gone for the lunge all the same.

Not surprised he didn't though, several spurs players should have been carded and in some cases there wasn't even a foul given.

Am I the only one who didn't think Lamela's goal was worth all the hype?

It's a nice piece of skill but it doesn't matter much when they lose, sums up Lamela the fairweather

I think it's a great bit of skill but if he had hit it with his right foot the end product would have been the same.
