I don't think we have a team at Tottenham

I think we have a group of players who for whatever reasons have let a progressive youngish manager and a proven if declining winning manager down severely with their efforts and honesty on the pitch, I don't pretend to be tactically aware having never played, but I know that a professional player whatever the tactics should be able to pass to a team mate and the ball reach him most of the time, and to look to put the effort in to win, this shower of sheet seem incapable or unwilling to do any of that to show respect for themselves, the manager and most importantly us the fans

And I just wish I had the level of intelligence that Tompkins has, my hero

Tomkins has the intelligence of a Baboon, and that is insulting the Baboon.

Three rules of the Spurs board.

1. Never ever criticise the former manager, and I mean never ever.

2. Never ever support the current manager.

3. Never ever mention you are old enough to have seen Spurs win trophies.

Break any of those rules, and you will royally get your head chewed off.

Sandy is missing the point again with these so called rules. Everyone has a right to an opinion, you have a right to share that opinion but there’s absolutely no responsibility on the rest of us to have to respect that opinion. We respect your right to HAVE an opinion but they’re two different things.

Regarding the rules specifically. That’s nonsense. Most of us loved Poch because he was largely brilliant for us. Jose hasn’t. The results poor, performances even worse and that’s after what everyone described as a good window in the summer.

I’m done explaining my point though. You have your opinion, the rest of us have ours but don’t throw your dummy out because we contradict you. It’s just opinions. You don’t like ours as much as we don’t like yours. What’s the difference? You accuse people of getting personal but I think you take it in that direction because you’re too sensitive when people oppose your views.

I think these players get let off the hook. They let Poch down and they’re letting Jose down.

I thought it became too cosy with Poch and that cost him (along with criminal non backing by Levy)

And now Mourinho tells them how it is and they can’t handle that either.

Totally agree, that was the point I was trying to make but you put in better words than me

Didn't Mourinho bring in some of his own signings in the Summer

Hojberg has been a success
Reguillion has been a success.
Rodon has potential but has to be classed as a flop this season.
Doherty an abysmal flop.

So not great business from Jose I agree.

Doherty is a problem but the other two have been out top performers so look at the players who aren’t doing it - all pre Jose.

I can’t believe I’m sticking up for Mourinho. He has to take 50%!of the blame. But any more than that and you’re letting those players royally off the hook IMO

Play badly under Poch - blame the manager.
Play badly under Jose - blame the players.

This is how I see it with those of you still in the Jose camp. For me it was the wrong appointment. We play terrible football and the results are even worse. This is NOT a player problem. These same players got us to a CL final under Poch.

If it's the players, why did the same thing happen at United? The problem is staring you in the face. It's the manager.

A lot of the players have let the past two managers down. Unfortunately managers live and die by results. Poch at the end had to go, no away Prem win for eight months saw to that. Jose is hanging by a thread, we shall see at the end of the season.
