filtering

having never filtered anyone i dont quite understand how this works.
i have been filtered by 2 or 3 posters for some strange reason. one being sandy whom i can see his articles but can't comment and the other is matth whose articles only show up when im not logged in.
i guess i can understand posters that write a lot of articles dont want certain other posters derailing their threads but do many on here just filter randomly or because these people are supporters of certain teams?

Not sure people get forced to use it...it's usually dweebs who can't hold a conversation without wetting their pants over something & instinctively press go

It seems to me majority of filters on here are caused by intolerance to differing views, not because of being a caaaant.

I absolutely respect your opinion on the use of the filter button

Then they feel all left out because they can't see what people are saying about them...

You sound a tad bitter and rattled by it tbh.

Imagine calling someone names online because they may want to filter the content as it doesn't reach a desired standard.

Filtering is counterproductive though, and has now been proven to lead to anything but higher or desired standards.

It more likely leads to <tumbleweed>

Filtering leads to echo chambers, echo chambers lead to inflated ego, inflated ego leads to Donald Trump.

Filtering is bad.
