Tyler Roberts sent home

Looks like Tyler has been a naughty boy. It never ceases to amaze me how footballers break the team rules almost thinking they either won't get caught, or that the rules don't apply to them. He's young but I hope he learns. I'd love to be a fly on the wall when Bielsa sees him for the first time back!

oh yeah Lubes, I'm not talking about Tylers Leeds playing ability, I like him a lot.

I'm just talking from the point of view of any player at professional level.

I would hope he gets a roasting from MB all the same. nothing personal against Roberts at all.

If MB tells him he was wrong then fine, sure, whatever. He shouldn't be punished by Leeds for something that happened with Wales though, especially when he is playing well. Also, with Klich, Rodrigo, and Bamford all potentially missing out next game, not sure we have much chance to discipline him anyway

Bielsa: “I don’t know what the position of the technical staff of the (Wales) national team is or their federation, which are the people who will resolve this matter.”

Bielsa on if he thinks incident re Tyler Roberts on Wales duty is done with & if he is available for weekend: “What happened to Tyler will be solved when he doesn’t commit this error again. He’s already received a sanction from his national team which is an important one.”

------

Yeah, sounds like he went ballistic on him...

Don't see why people thought he would go mental on him for this, its just not what he is about.

Every interview with his players, every time we see them train, everytime we get a behind the scenes, its clear that bielsa is great with his players... they would run through walls for him.

He ain't called El Loco cause he is some shouty mcshouty manager, he gets it cause he is so eccentric.

He was never going to read Roberts the riot act and as a result he will continue to see him get better and put in the performance that has made him part of the first team in recent games.

Its been taken care of by the Welsh football authorities and they used to say you cant get done twice for the same crime!..

So unless that's changed Bielsa should let Roberts know how he feels and let it be, unless it happens again!..
