Top 5 Flops of the season

I don't get how Xhaka has been our best midfielder. If it's because Parety is never fit and Xhaka just has Elneny and Ceballos to compete with, then OK I get it.

But Xhaka, for me, is everything that's wrong with this Arsenal side. Slow, laboured, poor in transitions, and prone to costly errors.

Because he’s performed better than all your other midfielders. I agree that he’s everything that’s wrong with Arsenal, but he’s still been the best you have to offer in the middle of the park. It’s one of the reasons you are midtable now.

Xhaka hasn't performed better than partey, but he's been more consistent. Partey will be back to his best once (if) he's over his injuries.

Ive been saying this since 2016. Cazorla used to dictate our tempo and style of play but when he got injured Xhaka became our most influential midfielder in this respect. We dropped from 2nd only on goal difference to finish the season in 5th.

So many people fail to see the influence and make excuses like we are even worse when he doesnt play not realising that the players are used to playing that way and adapt their game to it, things like holding back to receive the ball rather than making runs for through balls as one example.

Werner so awful he has to pass to mount from 5 yards out
