Money taken by Paypal

I got an e-mail today from PayPal saying it was a receipt for £10 paid to Leeds Utd, 1 April 2021 to 11th April 2021, for Cardiff City v Leeds Utd???

Firstly, we don’t play Cardiff City any more and I’m certain I haven’t made a payment to Leeds Utd for anything for quite some time. I checked my Paypal account and there has been £10 taken by Leeds United!

Has anyone else had a similar e-mail or can tell me what it means?

Anyway, its paypal so you are heavily protected as a buyer. Just log a dispute on the transaction in the resolution centre and they will sort you out. No need to go all panicy on a footy forum over 10 facking pounds.

And I know what I am talking about, I worked at paypal for a good few years.

Sorry, I thought because it was Leeds United it was OK to query, on here, whether anyone else had had money taken incorrectly. Also, I don’t think it matters if the amount is £10, 50p or £50k if it shouldn’t have been taken.

I won’t bother writing anymore articles.

Update - for anyone who might be slightly interested - Leeds Utd refunded the £10 to my Paypal account today. I’ve still no idea why they took it - the only slight explanation they’ve given in the e-mail was “old game”,
