MATCH FACTS
Head-to-head

Leeds are vying to complete a first league double over their Yorkshire rivals since 1991-92.
Sheffield United could beat Leeds in three successive league meetings at Elland Road for the first time.
However, the Blades have won on just one of their past 15 top-flight visits to Leeds (D4, L10).
Each of the past three league encounters has ended in a 1-0 away victory.

Leeds United
Leeds can become the first promoted side to win 13 of their first 30 Premier League matches in a season since Reading in 2006-07.
However, they could equal their Premier League club record of failing to score in three consecutive home games, set on five occasions.
The Whites have won all four of their meetings with sides in the relegation zone by an aggregate score of 12-4.
Their Premier League fixtures have produced an unrivalled 92 goals this season. Leeds' tally of 45 goals is the most by a promoted team at this stage of a top-flight season since Sunderland's 46 in 1999-00.

Sheffield United
The Blades have lost five successive away games in all competitions without scoring.
They have equalled the record for most defeats after 29 matches of a top-flight season: 23, set by Sunderland in 2005-06. The Black Cats lost their 30th league fixture too.
Their only goal in seven league and cup fixtures was David McGoldrick's Premier League winner at home to Aston Villa on 3 March.
Sheffield United are the division's lowest scorers, with 16 goals, and could go four competitive games in a row without scoring for the first time since April 2000.
They have failed to keep a clean sheet in any of their past 19 Premier League away matches.
Current caretaker manager Paul Heckingbottom was in charge of Leeds for 16 games in 2018 before being replaced by Marcelo Bielsa. His first competitive match in charge of the Whites was a 2-1 Championship defeat at Sheffield United.

So Sheffield desperate for the points and Our Lads looking to do the double over them , Should be all the ingredients for a cracking game 2-0 Home Win for me with Paddy and Jack cracking them in

Not much action on the Sheffield board. Last three threads are all Leeds United V Sheffield.

That’s two this year and one in the Championship.

Pitch was an improvement with recent warm weather - no slipping today.

Seemed very bumpy though. Can’t wait for next season and a completely new pitch and drainage.

Top 3 for me today: Tyler, Dallas, Llorente

mine too. good win but couldn't help but think we were wasteful on the many counters fron sheffield corners.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Spot on, we broke very well and created great situations but they all ended up with either a tame or off target shot or a misplaced final pass.

Something I wrote earlier!..

"There's been so many changes in football the last couple of years I'm not exactly sure what the rules are for the keeper scoring, but if he's still allowed to than goals from anyone!."

Think a player scoring a hat trick of goals against one team can be included in that!.

A hat trick of own goals that should read!.

Interesting when they have been a premier league team for two years, it appears that unlike High, most people who do the threads don't really want anybody from outside their own club commenting, that is unless the game is against a team of similar stature. Wolves are an exception to this, much kudos, the fans, the fans of Wolves want debate unlike fans of other clubs, speaks volumes.

For those who think the scoreline didn't reflect the chances, the Xg for this match was Leeds 2.53 v Sheff Utd 0.87. So perhaps 3-1 might have been a fairer score, but we certainly didn't deserve any more than that. We've got to sharpen up at both ends – in the second half we rarely looked like scoring and also looked pretty vulnerable at the back against a team that can't score for the life in 'em.

If you look at the ShefU site you'll find they only have 6 sides to it, its not that they have no fans or interest, its because most will post on other sites and not JA606!..

Take a look and there are others the same!..

We have just over 1000, Arsenal have more towards 3000!..

Tyler played well yet again.

Llorente very good game and Stuart on course for POTS.

Found the second half a bit frustrating particularly final ball or decision to shoot when a pass was much the better option.

Having said that 3 points all that matters now.

Cheers High , Lads and Lasses and special mention to Stoopo- been a rough and gratuitous few days for him. - Hope this result puts a line under it for you.

Thanks Rev - much appreciated
