Like I said, the mental gymnastics being used to avoid saying ‘we’re just playing the system’ is fun.

And again I’ll say it-rangers are doing what they and every other team have done before and are abusing the appeals process, and that’s the fault of the SFA.

Every other reason being trotted out is just window dressing to make it more palatable, and clearly to avoid being told to fvck off by the SFA.

well it's definitely helping me pass the time at work cos there's f@ck all happening here. Just standard for a bank holiday.

Rangers are playing the system. Deal with it

See?! Got you to agree with me and say it. And you told me to let it go as well.

Persistence does indeed beat resistance.

Fault lies with the SFA over this.

And a happy Easter to everyone.

Hope nobody got fatter with all those eggs. Especially any bears.

Balogoun simply isn’t a right back.

There is no shame in him not getting a game out of position behind Scotland’s best RB prospect in ten years.

Arguing that point is just bizarre 😉

BUT

It may not be the only factor in the appeal.

I am not convinced Rangers are JUST playing the system here. It may very well be a big part of it.

I know for a fact SG has been personally interested in Pattersons development for a couple of years now.

If SG thinks Patterson has a chance of making the Euros squad and this ban all but ends it then I could see where he is coming from.

We havent been at a major tournament for 20+ years. It would be terrific experience for the lad.

SG has been open in that he has spoken with Clarke about Patterson already. Scotland is absolutely desperate for a RB and for me Patterson is already streets ahead of ODonnell. He can run for a start.

I dont think that angle will bring much joy if they lead with it in the appeal though.

Its fine to express a frustration about how it may rob Patterson of a big opportunity. But it isnt a valid basis for an appeal.
