Diego Llorente

Head properly screwed on it would seem.

Just saw you had an article on here a day or two ago praising him, remembered reading the one linked above during the international break, and didn't see it referenced on your board. So in case you missed it, there it is. Enjoy.

By the way, I suppose he'll be a happy bunny right now, as his former club, Real Sociedad won the 2020 (no, that's not a typo) Spanish Cup final at the weekend. It was their first trophy in more than 30 years, and also the first ever cup final meeting against their traditional met Basque rivals, Athletic Club. May have been a bit of banter between him and Bielsa on that front, if the boss allows that kind of thing.

He's a likeable player for sure.

Good to see him fit and getting better every game. I think Cooper, Struijk and Koch are battling for the other spot.

Tempting given the options to try 3 CB's against Man C and go 532 instead of standing toe to toe with them.

I love this player's attitude. Was gutted for him the last time he went off injured after that brief 10 minutes. You could see how much it meant to him and MB.

Reading the article, you really see behind the scenes
and what it's like for him in recovery and what it's like
playing for MB.

We have a really top player in DL. Can only get better.

Cheers for posting it'sonlyagame.

agree after a bad ish start through no fault of his own - we were all so quick to wrote him off..

turned out to be a decent signing after all.

along with Cooper and Striyk who look to have improved ten-fold through out the season, we're not looking bad at all at CB area,

Koch, Llorente, Cooper, Striyk.. not bad at all.

I'm assuing we won't have the Donn release another article on how we should of signing more center backs?, or goal keepers for that matter.

another nod to Orta / Bielsa ref recruiting here.
