Fulham v Wolves match preview

Date: Friday 9th April
Kick off: 20.00
Venue: Craven Cottage

On Friday Wolves travel to London to take on Fulham.

In the reverse fixture at Molineux, Wolves ran out 1-0 winners thanks to a Pedro Neto goal, his first of the season.

In their game against West Ham on Monday, Wolves suffered their second defeat of the season at the hands of Davis Moyes’s side. The 2-3 score line leaves them in 14th place in the table with 35 points.

The day before, Fulham were in the midlands, suffering a 3-1 defeat at Villa Park. As a result the cottagers remain in the relegation zone but only 3 points behind Newcastle who are in 19th spot. With Newcastle playing away at Burnley on Sunday, Fulham will be desperate to get 3 points from this game to pile more pressure on Steve Bruce’s struggling side.

Wolves are still without striker Raul Jimenez and wing back Marcel, both of whom are recovering from surgery. A serious training ground knee injury to wing back Jonny Otto, a groin injury to midfielder Joao Moutinho coupled with a positive Covid-19 test for defender Willy Boly leaves Wolves, once again, without 4 of their key players.
Fulham’s midfielder Tom Cairney is still sidelined with an ongoing knee problem.

The game will be shown live on BT Sport
