Culer's Chosen Men

With this season's top 4 objective wrapped up, I thought it may be time to reveal who I have chosen as this summer's transfer targets. The amount of pessimism I hear about our summer window this year is staggering. We have several assets to sell off, which we will, and on top of UCL revenue I predict us to have at least £180-250 million to spend all things considered. My list below also takes into account that Cavani and Jones will leave on a free but De Gea stays.

Firstly who to sell:

Dalot - £20 million

Lingard - £35 million *West Ham will happily pay this, as well as other teams in EPL like Everton, Villa, Wolves etc

Pereira - £20 million

Bailly £20 million

Mata - £10 million *I will hate to see him go but for £10 million he's a bargain and a team in Spain would gladly pay it for a player of his quality

Martial - £45 million *He's just not quite done it enough, time to say goodbye

Williams - £15 million *Market rate for a young, talented English player

Matic - £15 million *Jose will probably have him at Spurs, if not a team in Italy will take him

Tuanzebe - £25 million *Doesn't play enough games for us but at this price a team will bite our hand's off

Money earned from player sales: £180 million
Monetary budget for window: £60 million
Total to spend in summer window: £240 million

Players to bring in:

Haaland - £60 million *This one is happening. Forget what the Pro-City media say, Haaland wants to play for Ole and step out of his comfort zone. Dortmund aren't looking good for UCL this season either and will be forced to sell. It will be Haaland's choice and he will choose us over Pep and the mercenaries.

Sancho - £50 million *Another long term target who Dortmund will have to let go when they finish outside UCL spaces

Varane - £35 million *Wants a new challenge having won the lot in Spain. Nearing the end of his contract and won't cost the earth either.

Ronaldo - £25 million *All reports show that he wants back in and would happily play more of a squad role at his age. Think Zlatan but even better!

Noble - £5 million *Would provide us real depth and quality in midfield. He always plays brilliantly against us and in his last year before calling it retirement, he will give all for us so to win silverware so he retires with medals. He could be a revelation in midfield for us as a squad player.

Trippier - £8 million *Great experience, price and quality at right back to compete with AWB.

Rice - £18 million *Replaces Matic and Fred especially in our first XI. A top player and we could even use Lingard as a bargaining chip.

Kabak - £20 million *This one would be more of a psychological signing than anything else. He was watched by United earlier this season before Klopp signed him in January, but only on a loan deal. Just imagine what it would do if we were to move early on this and actually sign him whilst he was still playing for them this season? After their lucky couple of years of finishing above us this would really finish them off if we took Kabak from them, I would go as far as to say it would finish Liverpool off and re-establish our dominance over them when you factor in that we're finishing above them this year.

Total spend on players: £198 million

TAA is the worst fullback in the league, imagine being 22 years old and being finished!

We have a European title in our sights and are still outsiders for the title.

Liverpool on the other hand

Not even in the top 6!

Klopp miles behind Ole and remember Sheldon, it was Gunnar who broke Klopp and started your barren Anfield run.

Ole Ole Ole Oleeee

I think I may have underestimated how much we can get for Lingard. Watching West Ham here and he’s put them 2 up, nearly in double figures for the hammers already!

Appears our lad Jesse has the Midas touch in claret and blue so far! Who’s to say we can’t get £50 million for him?? Based on what he’s done for them to date it’s possible... He looks every bit a £50 million pound player. Hilarious that another move on the chess board by Gunnar is keeping Klopp and LFC out of the top 4 too!
