EATING OUT

(Filth)

Right chaps. Not long now until we can enjoy a meal out with the missus or the mistress. Shame we cannot be trusted with a bottle of wine with our dinner but at least it's something.

What's your first port of call?
I think I'll try get a table at Mother India and get their Monkfish curry.

I’m starting to detest the Westminster government now.

Being led by the nose by the most pessimistic bunch of geeks ever known.

Grow a fwcking backbone
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Add one more to the yes column.

Wait will you get a vote?
----------------------------------------------------------------------

You know fine well I can’t vote. It would be a very reluctant yes though, and only reluctant because it would be for Sturgeon.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

you will call her Queen Nicola you heathen
----------------------------------------------------------------------
She’s approaching the end of both her appetite for the job (ooooer) and the public’s appetite for her. Tough gig FM, covid and Salmond not to mention the other enquiries. Fook knows who’s up next right enough.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

That's the concern. Like her or not she has done a decent job.

----------------------------------------------------------------------

----------------------------------------------------------------------

Yep. Equally stunned at that.

On every single measurable item; she and her party have failed abysmally, be that health, mental well-being, drug abuse, alcoholism, education, housing, suicide, obesity, infrastructure, business support or pretty much anything else.

Appalling record drowned out by perpetual whining and screaming for independence. Seems to cover all sins.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
However, all that is like Stevie discussing football contracts - end of Election Day there’s only one stat that counts.

That's the concern. Like her or not she has done a decent job. I suspect she will either see out independence then step aside or will leave if defeated.

When Salmond left it was clear she would be the one to take over. She was far more likeable even then than Salmond.

Right now the SNP have no clear alternative as a leader. I can't stand Swinney and the other up and coming who is/was my local MSP is a shambles now after getting caught texting some young guys...

This could potentially leave the door open for any party to fill in. I've said it before but if Labour got on board with independence under Sarwar then they could walk the elections. He is their best leader in a while and I did like Kezia Dugdale
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Just seen Welsh Labour call for an independence referendum down there!

Labour probably should be at least no opinion on independence if they want to be a force in Scotland again. They don't need to be outright in favour but really need to not be against it

Christ, they’d be in an even worse state than Scotland. At least Scotland has decent industries it can regenerate along with every facility to motor ahead on green technology. Wales has empty coal mines and try to make malt whisky. That’s about it.
