GOAT Club Sides (3 year period)

what is the actual point here?

If a club like utd or barca need to have their GOAT over a 3 year period fine but why would they get two GOAT?s it makes zero sense for.


It also goes back to 1991 for ac milan but no further for others.

you could make a list for a hundred clubs all having a 3 year period and then compare overall to see which single club had the most GOATy team of all.

but personally i see zero value is comparing two different utd teams to barcas two.

Barcelona 8-11 team.

Consensus best team in europe each year, 2 champions league, 3 league's.

Best player ever in his prime. Team also made up from other players who dominated st international level winning euros and world cup

Btw I reckon he means its one sided and you might see 5 real chances a game rather than 20 or 30 in the lesser english league.

in general when teams are tactically sound and hard to break down there are less chances.

Tbf I found that Barca side boring.

It was like a footballing anesthetic. I far prefer end to end football, equal posession and so on.

That's not to say I don't appreciate it's quality, I can with opera too, but I don't enjoy that either.

It is incredible how quickly it has all fallen apart.
