If we lose should Arteta stay next season?

I think half of our fanbase are against Arteta and his methods so if we get knocked out by Slavia Prague is he doomed?

Who would you prefer to take over of the manager get sacked which I don’t see happening.

Only if he is going to scrap his BS City-ball ideas and reconnect in full with PL Arsenal's pinnacle footballing identity. This club only ever needed rebuilding in it's own image. His decision to try and rebuild it in the image of Man City has been and will continue to be total failure. So either that stupid idea he has goes or he does but either way the team cannot be forced to play through another season of his current BS tactical mindset. No need for any big long negotiation meeting or talk, he needs a straight, cut to the chase talking to...

"Change ya ways next season or empty your desk now and don't bother coming back. What's it gonna be? Decide now so I can begin preparing my club for next season" Biggest problem (owner aside) SOLVED!

I think if we get knocked out by Slavia then he will have the 8 games to save his job in the PL. Strong finish or there will be talks with the board.

Although i do think they may give him the first 2/3 months of next season too

Is that not the height of incompetence?

Arteta has had an awful season if we lose to a last minute pogba goal in the final, nevermind going out to Sparta.

Is it really a good idea to give a manager a summer transfer window if he's only got 2 months to save his job.

Surely a new manager akin to Nagelsman ( sorry spuddies you know he'd pick us) should be brought in and given the summer to stamp his authority in terms of playstyle and personnel rather than needing another mid season replacement who then struggles to the end of the season ?

You mean in Wenger's image, lets not pretend that's the Arsenal way because before that it was known for turgid 1-0 wins built on defence.

Half the problem is the fans who thin Arteta only has players he inherited. we can easily make a team from players he brought in or made an effort to keep.

But the argument could be made that a season with any nonsense European trophy to dream off would prob suit attest building a new team. I doubt we would lose the young promising players as they would undoubtedly get more playing time. Bed in a new team and give them a year without the added games across the stream.

I mean, Arteta us out if his depths or half the players are on a silent mutiny but if your backing someone to make big changes let him do it. Or sell Auba and give his wages to the Atleti manager.
