A comment by Maheed about the constant criticism Celtic fans give their club on here had me looking for posts from Celtic fans doing just that, and after a few pages of looking I never found any
So, I have created one, you can thank me later. So who is to blame for the absolute mess that Celtic are in, all as predicted by Dave King who say the pack of cards collapsing a long time ago.
Its strange listening to SSB now and not hearing the nightly "I am a Celtic fan but I want to talk about rangers" and therein lies the issue for me
Some fans blame the board, some blame the manager, some blame Hammond, some blame Desmond but the real blame lies with the fans! Not all fans I hasten to add as there are many decent Celtic fans on here like DTJ, Pallaver, GTB, DTJ etc who are more interested in their own club than Rangers. Im talking about those that constantly obsess over Rangers on forums and shows like SSB, and those who bang on about Dave King, rangers finances - The Resolution 12 brigade!
They have always measured their club against their rivals and the board have always known that they just need to be better than rangers to satisfy them and that is a very dangerous strategy. All it takes is one transfer window for Celtic to be a failure and one for rangers to be a success and it all collapses like a predictable pack of cards.
Funnily enough they are the same fans who are now most critical against their own club because they have been shown up and embarrassed and cannot take defeat. They are also no doubt the same fans who accused rangers fans of doing nothing when our club was at its lowest ebb, so what are they fans now doing about the mess they have caused?
So who does everyone else think is to blame? This will allow Maheed to vent all his criticism and hopefully bring back all those Celtic posters who have suddenly disappeared or who would rather talk about politics than football
