for this serial bunch of losers to step up to the mark for once, when it really matters. No more excuses. They have had a full week off, United played in the Ropey League on Thursday, so Spurs should have an advantage.
Not like Spurs are actually playing a United team with Law, Best and Charlton in their pomp, or Giggs, Scholes and Beckham. This is a distinctly average Man United side, whom Spurs have already beaten 6-1 this season. So I am expecting, even demanding that Spurs beat them again.
It is going to be a struggle to get top four, but at the very least the players have to at least make an effort. I don`t want to see players strolling about today. I want 100 per cent commitment from all the players, cut out the mistakes, no silly free kicks, defend set pieces properly, and then let the forwards do their stuff. If Spurs go 1-0 up, I don`t want no easing off, if they go 1-0 down, I want to see some fightback.
I don`t want fans making excuses about the manager and his tactics. I want the players to actually show what they are made of, for players to actually want to win for a change. If the manager calls you out, just accept it, and roll up your sleeves, and prove him wrong, it`s what good players do.
Far too many of this set of players have been on easy street. I need to see some leadership today, all over the pitch. Is that really to much to ask?
I expect a Spurs win today, let`s hope the players don`t let me down.

Sometimes, the greats can have an off day, and we weren’t ready, and you took advantage.
