VAR continues to annoy me every week. It is not even being used properly under the initial concept. A curse on the game, a slur on the ability of the on-field officials and still get it wrong. Killing the game. GET RID OF IT !!! I can agree with the goal-line technology but playing a game under VAR must be like trying to give your girlfriend a kiss while her big brother is watching. You know it's worth the risk but you might get punished for it.

I think I'd be happy for them to scrap it, but it's not going to happen. They'll tweak a few things and persist with it.
So far though, it's not got rid of arguments and controversies, it's led to confusing and contradictory rule changes, and it's taken away quite a bit of the joy of celebrating a goal.

VAR should be all about the feet and nothing else. If a 'planted' foot is onside then the player is onside regardless.
Uncomplicate the complicated.
