Think West Ham will be his most likely destination. Why would he swap not playing at United for not playing at PSG or Bayern.

The only reasons that I could think of in this scenario is this:
1) A chance to add trophies to his collection
2) Be part of a squad for an elite club with little domestic challengers, and a good shot at winning the CL
3) Would still be on a very decent wage
4) New experience in another league.

It all depends if wanting to be playing regularly as a first choice outweighs those 4 points.

It will be interesting to see where he ends up. It's a very valid point by MMM that after excelling as a bigger fish in a smaller pond, he may not want to return to a situation where he's struggling to get into the XI of a super club. On the other hand, it might be that the West Ham experience has reignited his self-belief and the factors Babyen cites could come into play. I hope he makes the right choice: nice to see him really enjoying his football.

Imagine if Inter signed Lingard, Mourinho got sacked from Spurs and ended up at Juventus.

Then Mourinho could lose the title to a Conte side with Young, Lingard and Sanchez providing the bullets for Lukaku.

Don't forget Darmian (who scored a late winner for Inter the other day)!

Would be very funny. Would Juve go for Jose though? If I were them, I’d steer well clear.

A couple more ex-United signings and watching Inter would be like watching one of those charity matches with former United stars. The ones that always have a Scholes and a Yorke, then a Fortune and Silvestre, and they have to fill out the team with the Luke Chadwick and Phil Bardsley.

It was really sad seeing Andy Cole start that one, only to be subbed almost immediately.

Or more realistically Haaland/Lingard swap deal then Dortmund loan Lingard to PSG with Mbappe coming to us in return in a sweetener to let them keep Sancho for another season.

Have you offered your services to United? You’re the sort of sharp shooting deal maker Ed only wishes he was in his most fevered dreams..

Yeah I can see Neymar wanting a piece of the action once we have Haaland and Mbappe as 2 of our front three.
