4 games to save the season?

Preston, Birmingham, Swansea and Sheffield Wednesday.

Just 4 games ...

4 games which, in a normal season, I'd back us to win every one.

But, in this season, where we have consistently been inconsistent, I look at and think "in each of them I can see us outplaying the opposition and still losing".

As was the case last night.

Realistically, we probably need 5 or 6 points to be safe.

Can we get them? Yes!

Will we ? .... 🤔

For everyone who says the "Big six" would be missed if they were thrown out of the league, cast your minds back to when Utd were relegated in the 70's and more recently City who were playing Macclesfield at one point......

No, I thought not.

Out of sight, out of mind.
I couldn't give a to55 about the big 6. You win whatever division you are in, you're the best team. It's that simple.

Mengi out for the season and has returned to Man U. Waghorn available again.

Poor though Wisdom was on Friday, we are stuck with him now. Hopefully he will re-discover the defensive solidity that he and Clarke showed when Rooney first took charge.

For the last 4 games the only question in the back four is Forsyth or Buchanan. Bird and Shinnie seem to be the favoured two in midfield and for me they have done well. If Kazim plays then perm 3 from Lawrence, Jozwiak, Sibley, Roberts and Waghorn to play behind him, or play Waghorn with Kazim and go 4-4-2. I would choose the latter and play Lawrence and Roberts as the wide players with instructions to come inside when they can and for the full-backs to overlap for the width.

There is a tide in the affairs of men which, taken at the flood, leads on to fortune. The tide is high and I'm holding on, just. Come on lads.

As i said earlier on dis fred,it's what Rotherham do.The onus is on dem to get points. If they don't do that you might not ave to do anyfing. Wed might be a bigger concern.
